Telecom Contracting Operational Support

About the Role

A key player in the Belgian energy transmission sector is looking for a Telecom Contracting Operational Support Consultant to support large-scale 5G rollout projects (±900 sites).

You will work in a dynamic environment at the heart of the energy transition, ensuring telecom infrastructure projects are executed according to validated technical and safety standards.

Your Responsibilities

You will support operational telecom contracting activities, including:

  • Verifying and approving technical drawings according to agreed guidelines
  • Updating internal databases and ensuring accurate project tracking
  • Participating in on-site kick-off meetings with external customers
  • Performing site visits and acceptance checks
  • Writing detailed acceptance and non-conformity reports
  • Verifying as-built drawings (HV line & pylon accuracy critical)
  • Checking and approving State of Premises (before/after works)
  • Managing daily communication with external service providers
  • Reporting project status and issues to Key Account Managers
  • Ensuring all documentation is properly archived and updated

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technical field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in mobile telecom infrastructure is a strong asset
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (written & spoken)
  • Driving license B required

Additional Information

  • Location: Brussels
  • Hybrid model: 2 days onsite per week
  • For non-EU candidates: valid Belgian work and residence permit required
