Freelance Opportunity – Business Analyst (CMS / Process & Data Focus)

📍 Brussels (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join a leading organization in the energy sector, contributing to large-scale transformation initiatives and process optimization projects.

Your role

• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams
• Analyse and model end-to-end business processes (BPMN)
• Structure and model information using UML (class diagrams)
• Gather, challenge and prioritize functional & non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with architects and product owners on solution design & validation
• Define acceptance criteria, support testing & UAT
• Produce clear, structured documentation and improve best practices
• Drive continuous improvement and challenge existing processes

Your profile

• 5–8 years experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong understanding of Business Analysis frameworks (BABOK)
• Strong knowledge of BPMN & UML
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
• Analytical mindset with ability to simplify complex topics
• Knowledge of ArchiMate is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French + English
